Well - our early week was busy with field trips - and our late week is busy with Mother's Day shoppers. We got new hanging baskets yesterday for you and they are BEAUTIFUL. The strawberries couldn't be sweeter and we're getting more and more produce each day.
We've got hand knitted cotton dish cloths made by Rhett, Bonnie and Polly along with the makings for a great breakfast for Mom with our grits, ciders, double yolk eggs and biscuit mix. Don't forget the local honey to top those biscuit's with.
We plan to be open all day Friday and Saturday and possibly on Sunday. That means - get your shopping done before Sunday!
With a big crowd expected at our Farm Market on Saturday - we will NOT be at the Hub City Farmer's Market on 5/10/08. We'll get down there as soon as we can and will let you know when that'll be.
Have a great Thursday!

Mother's Day is THIS SUNDAY!! Don't let it slip up on you. We are getting a fresh shipment of flowers for this week so remember Mom with a hanging basket or some new plants for her outdoor pots.
We will have strawberries, jams, jellies, ciders and other foods so come put her gift together this week.
Henry is on the Bill Drake show today. Listen for him to be telling other updates about Gramling Farms.
Local honey still seems to be a popular item. It has been mentioned on the news and in the paper as being a remedy for allergy season and according to those that tried it - it has really helped. Local honey is made from local pollens - so it helps your immune system fight during allergy season - so come get a jar from us today. We have several sizes to suit your needs.
Don't forget - only 4 more days until we make our appearance at the Hub City Farmer's Market in Spartanburg! We plan to be there on May 10th for the 2008 opening.
We got our beans planted yesterday and look forward to a harvest of them in late June.
Have a great day and thanks for checking us out. We hope to see you soon!

Better Late than Never
Well - I am later than usual and I am sorry. Here's a list of what's going on.
- We have lots of strawberries at Gramling Farms. We will have plenty through the weekend - so we'll see you then!
- New in the Garden Center are Heirloom Tomato Plants, Yellow Tomato Plants, Cantaloupe Plants and other garden crops. We've got shovels, gloves, fertilizer and potting soil - so we can get you started on your garden this weekend!
- Before Sunday morning - you'll want to come get one of our apple fritters. They're great with a cup of coffee and easy to clean up when you're getting ready for church.
- Thanks to Welford Elementary for their field trips yesterday and today. We look forward to seeing some of you again next week! We hope you had as good a time as we did.
- Remember - Mother's Day is a week from Sunday. We have fresh hanging baskets, flowers and all the food stuffs. Come by this weekend and pick out what you're going to get Mom. We'll be glad to help.

Thinking Ahead to Mother's Day
Just to think ahead a little - Mother's Day is Sunday May 11th this year. That's in just under two weeks. You should think about visiting Gramling Farms for your Mother's Day shopping.
We have beautiful hanging baskets of flowers in our garden center if you want to take mom a gift that will last all summer. We have the makings for the perfect Mother's Day breakfast with syrups, ciders, stone grounds grits and farm fresh eggs (but don't make mom cook) for the perfect start to her Mother's Day, and of course - we have strawberries.
The weather is beautiful today - it's a perfect strawberry day - so come by the market, pick up a basket of strawberries and enjoy a slushy while you shop for mom. She'll be glad you came to Gramling Farms.
