Thursday - Mother's Day is Coming!

Well - our early week was busy with field trips - and our late week is busy with Mother's Day shoppers. We got new hanging baskets yesterday for you and they are BEAUTIFUL. The strawberries couldn't be sweeter and we're getting more and more produce each day.

We've got hand knitted cotton dish cloths made by Rhett, Bonnie and Polly along with the makings for a great breakfast for Mom with our grits, ciders, double yolk eggs and biscuit mix. Don't forget the local honey to top those biscuit's with.

We plan to be open all day Friday and Saturday and possibly on Sunday. That means - get your shopping done before Sunday!

With a big crowd expected at our Farm Market on Saturday - we will NOT be at the Hub City Farmer's Market on 5/10/08. We'll get down there as soon as we can and will let you know when that'll be.

New Flowers for the Weekend!

We should be getting in a new order of spring flowers today, and with the showers in the forecast for the weekend - it couldn't be a better time to get started on planting your garden spots. We also have pots, potting soil and all the things you'll need to get started. We can't wait to see you!

Speaking of planting, we are planting our garden now. We will have home grown tomatoes, squash, peppers and countless other things. We can't wait to share them with you.

We've worked out being at the Hub City Farmers Market starting May 10th. That's opening day for the the Hub City Market for the 2008 season. We plan to be there every Wednesday and Friday to help our "city friends" save a little gas money.

Also - remember - we will deliver strawberries to your place of business for a bulk order - so if you would like us to do that - please call 864.472.9649. Henry or Trey can assist.
